This family burial ground was located behind the former Cass farmhouse on the north side of the road from NY Route 9W to South Bethlehem. Photos were taken about 1952, and all trace of them was gone a few years later.

Buried there are Conrad Soop, his wife Elizabeth Becker, daughter-in-law Margaret Van Zandt, a daughter and two grandchildren. Frederick Soop, son of Conrad, is buried in Elmwood Cemeter, Bethlehem, in the Niver Lot, without a stone, according to records of the cemetery.

A transcription of these stones was provided to the late Col. William V. Hannay, who transcribed many stones in that area, and he sent a copy to the late Florence Christoph, who published it in her book PEOPLE OF BETHLEHEM. It was also published in TREE TALKS.
