This is Town of Homer No. 8 on 1876 Cortland County Atlas Map. Lot No. 38

This cemetery is unused.
The Atchinson (spelling confirmed in 1870 Census) Farm plot is mostly gone. Was located east of Rt. 13 just north of East River Crossing Rd.

In 1948 there were 16 stones to read (included here). There was a statement at the time that "part of this plot now appears to have been plowed up." "Owner would like to get rid of it."

The 1976 reading "found 2 marble markers lying on their back" behind house at edge of overgrowth. "Area so overgrown dense & physically altered that nothing else could be found."
