The Main Entrance, looking north into Cairns City Cemetery is about 30 to 40 meters East of where Martyn Street Ends. AKA Martyn Street Cemetery. Actually located at the junction of Martyn Street, Anderson Street, and James Street with the city giving it a postal address of Anderson Street yet the main entrance sign is Cairns Cemetery with Google Maps calling it Cairns City Cemetery. Another entrance is just west of this and a third is about half way between James St. and Greenslopes off Little Street.

This is the old entrance directly opposite Martyn Street which ends at the four street round about of Martyn, Severn, Anderson, and James Streets. The newer entrance is about 20m east of this entrance and an additional exit east of that.
There is another entrance at the other end of the cemetery which lets out onto Little Street.
