Original cemetery of the Oak Grove Baptist Church. This is a predominately African American Cemetery that is inactive and abandoned. Last burials in the late 1970's.

Located in a wooded area it has about 25 unmarked adult slabs, one child slab, several obvious depressions, several faded funeral home markers and various stones scattered throughout the woods.

Directions:
From the intersection of Church St (Hwy 242) and Hwy 15 in Sandersville, go north on Hwy 15 for 1.6 miles. Turn right on the Fall Line Freeway (Hwy 88 E) and go about 3.0 miles. Turn left on Oak Grove and go 0.2 mile on Oak Grove to Gordon Grove Ln. Turn right on Gordon Grove Ln and go 0.4 mile to a road forking off on the right. Take the road forking off and go 1.0 mile to the cemetery on the right about 100 feet into the woods. As of 2010, there is a path to the cemetery from the main road.
