Pvt. Eldred (Jim) Brittsan, 25, former hurler for the Louisville Colonels of the American Association, was killed Jan. 28, at Luxembourg while serving with a machine gun outfit. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Myrna Brittsan and two children of Van Wert, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brittsan of Harrison Twp., two sisters and two brothers.
