Lila "Lee" Wonders, 82, former resident of East Liverpool, OH, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at her home in Nashville, TN, surrounded by loving family members.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, November 19 at 2 P.M. from the Grace Church of the Nazarene on Pennington Bend Road, Nashville, TN.

Visitation with the family is Sunday, November 18 from 4 P.M. until 7 P.M. at the church.

Lee was the daughter to the late Carl C. and Dolly Swisher.

She married Richard D. Wonders on June 8, 1950 and they had five children during their 62+ years of marriage. She was a very active member of Grace Church of the Nazarene where she was past Director of the Women's Ministry and the Ladies Bible Study. Her love and appreciation for Christian music was second to none. Lee was also a dedicated member of the Metro Nashville Chorus of the Sweet Adelines, which is directed by daughter, Kim Wonders.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, are three daughters, Lynette K. Rutledge of Matthews, NC, Kim Wonders of Madison, TN and Denise Wonders Beatty and her husband, Greg of White House, TN; and one son, Richard D. Wonders, II and his wife, Donna of Allen, TX. There are ten grandchildren, Ben Rutledge of Chicago, IL, Kyle Beatty of Summerville, SC, Brandon Foltz, DDS of Nashville, TN, Ashley West and her husband, Tim of White House, TN, Zac Beatty of Chattanooga, TN, Tyler Anderson and her husband, Bill of Birmingham, AL, Cameron Foltz of Knoxville, TN, Jordan Wonders, Madison Wonders and Jansen Wonders of Allen, TX and five great-grandchildren, Tristan Beatty and Trent Beatty of White House, TN and Riley West, Nathan West and Sydney West of White House, TN. Other survivors include brothers, David Swisher of East Liverpool, OH, Joe Swisher of Chesterton, IN, Charles Edward Swisher of Newell, WV; sisters, Sue Beatty of East Liverpool, OH, Pat Swisher of New Cumberland, WV and Sandy LeBlanc of ND and son-in-law, David C. Foltz of Nashville, TN.

She was preceded in death by daughter, Vickie Wonders Foltz; parents, Carl C. and Dolly Swisher; and three brothers, Whitey Swisher, Bill Swisher and Carl C. Swisher, Jr. Memorial contribution may be made to the Vickie Wonders Foltz Memorial Fund, make checks payable to: Metro Nashville Chorus.
