Delphine M. Chambers, 79, of Elyria died Thursday at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Avon after a long illness.
Mrs. Chambers was born in Butler Pa and had lived in Elyria for 20 years. A career waitress, she was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Grafton.
She enjoyed playing bingo, working crosswords puzzles and watching sports.
Mrs. Chambers is survived by a daughter Gail Buzaleski of Elyria, six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and a brother Aime Baptiste of Michigan.
She wasd preceded in death by her husband Hugh, a son Gary, sister Pauline Baptiste, and brothers Eugene, Lauren, Marcel, Maxmillan Raymond and Leonard Baptiste.
Funerasl services will be held at Busch Curtis Scheuffler Family Chapel with the Rev. Mark Viets of Trinity Lutheran Church officiating.
Interment will be at Brookdale Cemetery Elyria
