Mrs. Amanda Dotson, 75, wife of Rufus S. Dotson, died at 5 a.m. Thursday at the family home, 16 Bellaire Ave. Born in Franklin County, Tenn., Mrs. Dotson came to Muncie 27 years ago. She attended the Separate Baptist Church. Her death followed an extended illness.
Surviving are the husband; three sons, Thomas, Alva, and Eston Dotson, all of Muncie; two daughters, Mrs. J.H. Griffith of Tullohoma, Tenn., and Mrs. Joseph Clay of Akron, Ohio; and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Meeks Mortuary. The Reverend Harry Case will be in charge. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary.
