Victor G. Geiser, 70, N3142 S. Mill Road, New Holstein, died Friday, April 18, at Calumet Memorial Hospital in Chilton, following an apparent heart attack.
He was born August 25, 1915 in Charlestown, a son of the late Frank and Margaret Woelfel Geiser.
On October 25, 1939, he married Hildegard Heimann at St. Martin’s Catholic Church in Charlestown.
He farmed in the town of Charlestown until his retirement in 1978.
He was a member of St. Martin’s Catholic Church, the Catholic Knights Charlestown Branch 194, the Chilton Eagles Aerie No. 1288, the Holy Name Society, the Holstein Breeders, the Farm Bureau, a former 4-H leader, formerly on the Calumet County Fair Association.
Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Sister Rosanne Geiser C.S.A., New Orleans; six sons, Bernard of Chilton, Roman of Mt. Airy, Maryland, Dennis of Endwell, New York, David and Charles, both of New Holstein and Paul of Madison; 21 grandchildren; one great grandson; one sister, Mrs. Marie Hekner of Menasha; three brothers, Clem, Gregor and Alois, all of Chilton; one step-sister, Mrs. Dorothy Woelfel, New Holstein.
He was preceded in death by two sons, one sister, two brothers, four step-sisters and one step-brother.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Tuesday at St. Martin’s Catholic Church with Rev. Paul Brick, pastor, as celebrant. Burial was in Knollwood Mausoleum of Manitowoc.
Wieting Funeral Home in Chilton assisted the family with arrangements.
