Sofus K. Jensen, age 91, of Elgin, Ill., died Thursday, August 1, 1996, at Maplewood Care Center, Elgin, Illinois.
He was born February 10, 1905, in Oslo, Norway. He had been a resident of Elgin for the past ten years.
Survivors include two sons, Roger (Mary) Jensen, Sleepy Hollow, Illinois, Raymond (Nancy) Jensen, Orland Park, Illinois; ten grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one brother, Frederick Jensen, Miami, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
