MARY PRITZL

Mrs. Mary Pritzl, 77, of route 1, Cato, died Thursday afternoon as the result of an automobile accident in Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Reedsville Funeral Home, Reedsville, and 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. The Rev. Leander Nickel will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Pritzl, nee Mary Strauss, was born June 5, 1900, in the Town of Schleswig, daughter of the late Simon and Anna Stracka Strauss. She was married to John Pritzl July 15, 1924, in Clarks Mills. He preceded her in death in 1966. Mrs. Pritzl was a member of Christian Mothers Society and a 50 year member of Catholic Knights. She was also a member of the Senior Citizens.

Survivors include five sons, Norbert, John and Edward of rural Cato, Paul of Manitowoc and Donald of Francis Creek, a step-son, Othmar Pritzl of rural Whitelaw; seven daughters, Mrs. Bernard (Marie) Schermetzler, Mrs. Roger (Anna Mae) Cornils, Mrs. LeRoy (Eunice) Bielke, Mrs. Robert (Monica) Herzog and Mrs. Ronald (Kathryn) Krupski of Manitowoc, Mrs. David (Geraldine) Brouchoud of New Berlin and Mrs. Howard (Suzanne) Zimmerman of rural Manitowoc; two step-daughters, Mrs. Edward (Agatha) Leist of Route 2, Reedsville and Mrs. Joe (Irene) Oswald of Whitelaw; two brothers, Herman Strauss of Route 1, Valders and Nick Strauss of Milwaukee; three sisters, Mrs. Ottelia Luchterhand of Chilton and Mrs. Hildegarde Nelson and Mrs. Clara Gross of Milwaukee; 47 grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren and four great grandchildren and 20 step-great grandchildren. Two step children preceded her in death.

Friends may call in Reedsville Funeral Home 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, where a prayer service will be at 7:30 a.m. led by Father Nickel, following a recitation of the Rosary at 7 p.m. by Christian Mothers Society and Catholic Knights.
