Jack was a retired radiology technician with Hazelwood Hospital, where he had over 35 years of service and had also worked at Sts. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital; a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church and a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Preceding him in death were his parents, William W. and Lola Ford Floyd; his wife, Gloria Ann Krull Floyd; brothers, William Wallace Floyd, Jr., George Floyd and Samuel Floyd; and a sister, Dorothy Spencer.
Survivors include his daughters, Tina Kamer (Mark) and Gina Dentinger (Lee) and his grandchildren, Alan, Eric and Brent Kamer, and Allison, Adam and Alec Dentinger.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, May 6, 2013 at the Franciscan Home Chapel, 3625 Fern Valley Road, with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Sunday at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road and after 9 a.m. until service time Monday at the Franciscan Home.
