Mizner was a playwright, best known for "The Deep Purple" which was produced in 1910. He also wrote screenplays for 20 films including: One Way Passage, 20,000 Years in Sing Sing, Strictly Personal and Hard to Handle to name a few. Mizner was co-owner and manager of the famed Brown Derby Restaurant.
