Sylvester W. Weigand, 70, passed away April 5 at Akron City Hospital.
He was born in Suffield, and lived in Springfield Twp. all his life. Mr. Weigand was employed with Harry Miller Construction, retiring in 1977, was a member of St. Matthew Roman Catholic Church, and an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the 770th Field Artillery Battalion. He is survived by wife, Alice; brothers, Herman of Barberton, Claude of Atwater; sisters, Agnes Klein of Brimfield, Marie Winkler of Rootstown, Francis Pierce of Mogadore; many nieces and nephews.
