WATERLOO - Leroy L. Hoff, 68, of Clearwater, Fla., formerly of Waterloo, died Thursday, April 28, at Sabal Palms Health Care Center, Largo, Fla.
He was born May 28, 1936, in Waterloo. He was married to Myrlea La Pole for 48 years.
Mr. Hoff retired from John Deere after 37 years as a sheet metal skilled tradesman. He was in the Army for nine years and in the Naval Reserves for 20 years, retiring as a Chief Petty Officer E-8.
Survivors include his wife of Clearwater; two sons, John of Clearwater and Lance of Newnan, Ga.; a daughter, Janelle Lach of New Port Richey, Fla.; a sister, Louise Dawson of Waterloo; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be held at a later date at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park in Clearwater.
