Daniel J. Patterson, 52, of Arlington Heights, born in Elmhurst, son of the late John Sr. and Priscilla Patterson; beloved brother of the late Jeanmarie (Bob) Marthaler, Patrick, John (Nellie), Frances (Jack) Grund and fond uncle and great uncle of many nieces and nephews. Dan is remembered for his love of being with his family and friends, love of music, great sense of humor and wit, and his perseverance with life's challenges. The family thanks the many Doctors, Nurses and health care providers who helped Dan in his journey. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends. Visitation Saturday, 8:00 a.m. until the time of prayers 9:00 a.m. at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights. Funeral Mass 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Wayside Church 450 S. Mitchell St. Arlington Heights. Interment All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations to Alexian Brothers Mental Health or Les Turner ALS Foundation.
