Mildred Morrow came to the end of a great life on February 28, 2014. She was 94 years old. She was born on December 3, 1919 to Elbridge and Mary Weston in East McKeesport, Pennsylvania. She had three siblings. In August 1943, she married George W. Morrow, Jr. of Pitcairn, Pennsylvania and worked in defense industry while George served in the infantry in Europe.

Millie and George came to Oregon in 1948 and settled in Silverton. George worked for Portland General Electric Company in Salem and Mildred was a homemaker. Millie and George were active in the Silverton Methodist Church, and George was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Silverton school board.

In 1969, they moved to Salem where they joined Salem First Presbyterian Church and took an active part. George was a deacon and served on the Northeast Salem Citizens Association. Millie's life centered on her home and family. Millie was a warm hostess to those who visited her beautiful home and a friend to all who knew her. George died in 2012, and Millie spent the last two years of her life at Avamere Court in Keizer. George and Millie are together at Willamette National Cemetery.

Survivors include son, George W. Morrow III; niece, Sherri Sartor of Ohio; nephews, Louis and Boston White of Oregon; and other nieces and nephews; and friends Mike and Chris Crossland. A memorial service for Millie will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25 at Salem First Presbyterian Church, 770 Chemeketa Street NE, Salem. Arrangements by Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service.
