W. Raymond Cook, 62, of 146 Lincoln Ave., North Vandergrift, died Tuesday, May 19, at 11;10 a.m. in Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights.
He was born in Parks Twp., Armstrong County, Dec. 3, 1907, the son of A.J. and Molly Blystone Cook.
He was the former owner of Cook Transfer and Moving, Vandergrift.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Emahiser Cook; three sons, William A. and Robert E. Cook, R.D. 1, Vandergrift, and Kenneth V. Cook, West Leechburg; seven grandchildren; one brother, Veryl, R.D. 1 Vandergrift; three sisters, Mrs. Ward (Violet) Stitt, Vandergrift, Mrs. George (Velma) Brocious, R.D. 1, Vandergrift, and Mrs. Jack (Retha) Scott, Vandergrift,
Friends willbe recieved at the Harold B. Heckman Funeral Home, 274 Franklin Ave., Vandergrift, from 7 to 10 this evening and from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Thursday where funeral service will be held Friday afternoon at 1"30 with the Rev. Arden Gilmer officiating. burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Apollo.
