Married in Cohocton, Steuben co., on the 12th ult. by the Rev. W. R. Babcock, Mr. Anson T. West, of Perry, to Miss Lydia Ann, daughter of Rev. James Bronson of the above place.

Mrs. Lydia A. West, daughter of Rev. James Brownson, widow of Rev. A. T. West and mother of Mrs. Sylvester Derby Pickett, was born Feb. 6, 1816, and died at the Methodist Episcopal parsonage, the home of her daughter, Andover, New York, Sept. 29, 1903. Among her immediate relatives on her father's side were eight Methodist clergymen and one Catholic priest. From early life she was a seriously devoted Christian, greatly attached to the traditional ideals of Methodism. She craved the passage to another life which was one of peace.
