He was born in what is now Taylor Co., WV on 1/6/1854 and died on 1/28/1940 in Taylor Co., WV. He married Martha E. "Mattie" Strother on 11/11/1886 in Taylor Co., WV. Two children were born to their union. Ada, who died young and Percy, who married Flora Alice Colebank. George and Mattie are both buried in Wesley Chapel United Methodist Cemetry near Knoxville, WV

Death Claims Aged Farmer George Dadisman, 86, Succumbs Sunday at Knottsville Home
One of Taylor county's elder citizens, George Dadisman, 86 years old, died at 11 o'clock last night at his residence in Knottsville district. In ill health for some time, Mr. Dadisman was the victim of complications and senility.
Native of County. A native of this county, the deceased was born on January 6, 1854, the son of the late George and Elizabeth Smith Dadisman, early Taylor county residents. His wife, the former Martha Strothers, died last April and there are no surviving children. Survivors include one brother, Jefferson D. Dadisman, of Philippi, and three grandchildren, who reside in Tucson, Arizona.
Last Rites Tomorrow A Farmer by occupation, Mr. Dadisman was a life long resident of Knottsville district. He was a member of the Wesley chapel church. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Wesley chapel church, with the Rev. L.L. Reckart, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery, under the direction of G.T. Bartlett
