Fred Sheridan, 92, passed away at Elmcroft of Ontario early Monday morning, August 1, 2011. He was born August 11, 1918 in Shelby, Ohio. Fred was a veteran of the U.S. Army and enjoyed woodworking in his younger years. He was formerly employed in the construction business and was a crane operator. Fred could be found spending his free time fishing on Lake Erie and being outdoors.
He is survived by his son, Leo (Peggy) Sheridan; brother, James (Shirley) Sheridan; two sisters, Bernadette (Gene) Kuhn and Ruth Alt; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Cora Anna (Reidy) Sheridan and wife, Mary Arnold Sheridan.
