Bernadette M. Kuhn, age 92, resident of Shelby, passed away Friday August 27, 2021 at Elmcroft of Ontario.

She was born January 19, 1929 in Shelby to Frederick M. and Cora (Reidy) Sheridan. Bernadette had resided in York, Pennsylvania for 30 years moving back to Shelby in 1998. A homemaker, she attended Yorktown Business Institute graduating in 1978.

Bernadette was a member of the Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church and was dedicated to praying the Rosary daily. She had volunteered as a Gray Lady at Shelby Memorial Hospital.

She enjoyed riding motorcycles, creating various crafts and playing Bingo and other games. Most of all, Bernadette loved spending time with her family.

Surviving are her two sons, Robert (Peggy) Kuhn of Austell, Georgia and Michael Alan (Jessica) Kuhn of Newnan, Georgia; one daughter, Sandra Jean (James) Tegeler of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania; nine grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; brother, James (Shirley) Sheridan of Shelby; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years Gene Kuhn; four brothers, Gerald, Albert, Frederick and Edward Sheridan and three sisters, Mary Moorhead, Esther "Pet" Kinstle and Ruth Alt.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday August 31, 2021 at the Barkdull Funeral Home and Crematory. Father Chris Mileski will officiate with interment in Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Cemetery.
