Helen E. Dicker, 66, of Tatamy, formerly of Kunkletown, died Friday, Oct. 25, at her home. Born on July 24, 1936, in Phillipsburg, N.J., she was the daughter of the late William and Rosa E. (Gellock) Piatt. A graduate of Phillipsburg High School, she loved to read and frequented local libraries. She was a member of the Flower Bowling League at Bar-Don Lanes, Palmer Township. Surviving are three sons, Edmund R. and his wife Michelle, of Williams Township, James S. and his wife Sandra, of Lexington, S.C., and David C. and his wife Valerie, of Stroudsburg; six grandchildren, Chris Lalonde, Kate, Laura, Kelsey, Matthew and David Dicker; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers Stanley Piatt and Clarence Piatt; and one sister, Lida Schlect. A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, at Strunk Memorial Home, 2101 Northampton St., Wilson Borough. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Northampton County SPCA, 1165 Island Park Road, Easton, PA 18042.
