Clarence R. Krone, 94, of Riverton, died at 6:14 pm, Thursday, October 16, 2014 at his home.
He was born August 13, 1920 in Springfield, to Emil and Elsie Haught Krone.

He married Eunie Pierce on November 25, 1956 and she survives.

Also surviving are
one daughter, Kayla Primm of Athens;
one son Randy (Toni) Krone of Riverton;
five grandchildren, Morgan (Darci) Primm, Casey Primm, Nate Primm, Ethan Krone and Ellie Krone;
one great grandson, Marshall Primm and
several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents;
two sisters, Gladys Sotak and Viola VanDyke;
five brothers, Fred, Harry, Raymond, Robert and Emil Jr. Krone.

Clarence was a lifelong member of Grace Lutheran Church and had served on the Church Council. He was a member of the Farm Bureau; Buffalo Hart Community Club and was active with Rural Youth. He was inducted into the Sangamon County Farm Bureau Hall of Fame in 2004.

He was a lifelong resident of Sangamon County where he farmed his entire life.

Mr. Clarence R. Krone will be laid to rest on Monday, October 20, 2014 at Taylor Cemetery.
