Actress. A versatile performer over her 30 year career, she shall probably be remembered as Nancy, Kevin Spacey's faithful secretary in the online drama "House of Cards". Raised in suburban Washington, she attended the elite Sidwell Friends School and the University of Chicago prior to earning an undergraduate degree from Cornell University and a master's from Yale. After spending several seasons at various Southern California theaters and at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Nancy made her 1984 silver screen debut in "The Woman in Red". Also in 1984 she appeared in "Runaway", then for the next three decades was kept busy on such small screen series as "E.R.", "L.A. Law", "The Twilight Zone", "L.A. Doctors", "St. Elsewhere", "Sisters", "Mad About You", "Doogie Howser, M.D.", "Law & Order", "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit", and "Blue Bloods". Seen a few times on the big screen, her best known film was probably in the 1997 "Romy and Michele's High School Reunion". Nancy landed her "House of Cards" role in 2013 and was still part of the cast at her death from cancer.
