John Fairley...was twenty-two years old last month. The past eight years he has resided in Holton, Kansas. For two years he attended Campbell University, when the failure of his father's health obliged him to go into the Store of Dunn, Fairley, & Co., where he worked until it burned. He then entered the First Nation Bank at Horton where he worked until about three weeks ago when he came home sick with typhoid fever, of which disease he died last Saturday night. Since his father's death he has been his widowed chief help and advisor.....
