Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 11 a. m. Thursday at The Church of the Little Flower for Joyce Ann Gardner.
Mrs. Gardner, 37, drowned Monday at the River Inn resort.
The Reno native was born May 6, 1937. She was a lifetime resident of the area and was employed as a waitress.
Surviving are her husband, Dreyfus I. Gardner, and children, Michael, Barbara, Wendy and Jill Marie Gardner, all of Pleasant Valley; her parents, Charles and Hazel States of Escondido, Calif.; and brothers, Michael States of Fairfax, Va. and Roger States of San Bernardino, Calif.
Burial will be at Mountain View Cemetery. Walton Funeral Home, Reno, is in charge of arrangements.
