Leonard E. Alfson, ge 76, passed away Thursday, February 25, 1993, at the Manitowoc Health Care Center, Manitowoc.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 2, 1993, from the St. Mary's Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. Father John Conrad officiating, with cremation having taken place and entombment at the Calvary Mausoleum.
He was born August 17, 1916, in Valders, Wis., son of the late Albert and Mary Olsen Alfson. He attended schools in Valders, graduating from Valders High School. He was employed with the Olsen Trucking Co. for many years. He married Marie Kohlbeck on July 10, 1935, in Clarks Mills She preceded him in death in December 1991.
He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Jan and Jay Elliott, Lincolnshire, Ill.; three sisters, Luella Espen, West Bend, Alice Free, Manitowoc, Mildred Schad, Mishicot; eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, a son, one brother and two sisters.
Friends may greet the family from 11 a.m. on Tuesday until the time of services at the church. The Jens Funeral Home and Crematory are assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
