George M. Altmann Sr., 70, of 903 Dewey St., Manitowoc died Thursday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where he was a
patient one year.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. James De Witt will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Altmann was born April 5, 1899, at Manitowoc, son of the late Michael and Odelia Altmann. Before retiring five years ago he was employed 15 years as a chief engineer at Manitowoc County Hospital. He married Hilda A. Hammelmann Oct. 31, 1922 at Sheboygan.
Survivors include a wife, a son, a daughter, and four grandchildren.
Two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Friday where at 7:30 p.m. the Rosary will be recited.
