The family of Veronica Mesna mourns the passing of their beloved mother, "Vicky," age 84. Vicky passed away peacefully surrounded by family, June 10, 2015.
A memorial will be held Saturday, June 20, at 10 a.m., at St. Paul's Cemetery, Sauk Centre, and a celebration of Vicky's life will immediately follow at the Palmer House in Sauk Centre.
Vicky was born June 20, 1930, in Lismore to Emil and Catherine (Didier) Lais. She and her late husband, Richard Mesna, shared a passion for adventures and traveled throughout the South and Western United States with their children. The family resided in California and Minnesota with their nine children and over the years a countless number of friends and memories were made.
Vicky's family will remember her for her endless love and compassion, and her support, acceptance and loyalty for both family and friends alike. She shared her love of music, flowers and cooking with everyone. Her smile would brighten any room.
Vicky was remarried in 1997 to the late Richard Finken. For 16 years, they enjoyed laughter, friendship, gardening and the company of each other.
Vicky was held dear by many wonderful nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
