Bruechert, Ronald E.
Ronald E. Bruechert, age 66, of 2602 Forest Ave., Two Rivers, died Tuesday evening, March 29, 2016, at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.
Ronald was born on January 30, 1950, in Two Rivers, the son of the late Raymond and Dolores (Levy) Bruechert. He attended St. John's Ev. Lutheran Grade School and graduated from Washington High School with the Class of 1969. Ron was the store room keeper at Hamilton's for 16 years and was then employed at Arnie's Appliance, worked for Del Ciha and was the custodian at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church. He was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, where he served on the Church Council and was also a lifetime member of St. Joe's Athletic Association.
He is survived by one sister and brother-in-law: Diane and Melvin Danay, Two Rivers; a brother: Thomas Bruechert; his foster son: Rick Mueller, Manitowoc; along with aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a nephew: Randy.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2016, at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 17th & East Park Sts., Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. David Arndt, with burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Hwy. 310, Manitowoc.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. There will be no Friday evening visitation.
