Linley R. Headley, 91, of Small Road, Allegheny Township, died Sunday, Sept. 16, 1990 at Citizens General Hospital in New Kensington.

He was born Feb. 7, 1899 in Bristoria, Pa. to William and Mina (Hull) Headley.

An area resident for 53 years, Mr. Headley was employed on the sub-station crew at the Washington Township Office of West Penn Power Co., retiring in 1965 after 42 years of service. He was also active in area Boy Scout troops.

Survivors include three sons, the Rev. William N. Headley of Rural Valley and Robert D. and Thomas E. Headley, both of Allegheny Township; one daughter, Mrs. Martin (Donna) Kotvas of West Leechburg; 10 grandchilldren; nine great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; one brother, Wallace Headley of Graysville and three sisters, Leota Henderson of Waynesburg, Georgie Finch of Parker, W. Va., and Aldene Bradley of Tenn.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sidney J. (Brown) Headley on Nov. 28, 1980; one brother, Melvin Headley and four sisters, Florence Conrad, Edna Horn, Vivian Watson and Dora Rush.
