(1871 - 1909)
After a few weeks' illness Mrs. W. Wilms died at her home in Manitowoc Rapids of heart trouble on Saturday morning, Jan. 30.
The deceased was born in New York in 1873 and came here with her parents.
She is survived by her husband and four small children, Adeline, Ida, Walter and Freddie; her parents; two brothers, Herman of Cato, August of Michigan, and one sister, Mrs. Lenard of Manitowoc.
She was a kind and loving mother and an affectionate wife. The deceased was thirty-six years of age.
The funeral took place on Wednesday afternoon. Rev. Machmiller preformed the last sad rites. May her soul rest in peace.
Farewell dear loving mother,
They have borne thee away
To the one and silent city.
Of the dead, that winter day,
Where Zephyrs, softly stealing,
At eve they dirge shall sing
And kiss the flowers above thy grave,
And hail each early spring.
