Carol Ann Holl-Lang died December 13, 2015, at the age of 69. She was born January 29, 1946, the older of two daughters to Louise and Al Holl of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She attended Lindenwood University before graduating from the University of Arkansas; she then went on to work in multiple roles for the Kerr-McGee Corporation over the course of more than 20 years.
She is survived by one son: Christopher Lang, daughter-in-law Tiffany Lang, and seven grandchildren; one sister, Barbara Painter, a brother-in-law Randy Painter, a nephew Patrick Painter (Jennifer), and a niece Jennifer Honn (Jesse).
She was an active and long-serving member of Calvin Presbyterian Church until it closed earlier this year, at which time she became a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. Additionally, she was an active member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood (an international philanthropic organization) and volunteered in a number of other roles as well, including delivering mobile meals to shut-ins and teaching children to read. In lieu of flowers, it was her wish that donations be made to Covenant Presbyterian Church of Oklahoma City.
A graveside service will be held on December 17th at Rose Hill Cemetery, followed by a memorial service at Covenant Presbyterian Church the same day. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was loved and respected by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
