Charlie was the son of Herbert and Catherine Ford. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. About 1945 he married Louise Boling and they had three children: Sue, Charles and David. He was a retired employee of National Distillers where he worked for 38 years. Charlie died at the age of 83.
