Mrs. Mary Koch, an aged resident of this place died of paralysis on Saturday evening Aug. 16.

Mrs. Koch whose maiden name was Staudt, was born in Halfond, Germany, March 21, 1822, and came to this country with her family about 39 years ago, and with her husband, the late Peter Koch, purchased a farm and made a home for themselves and family about one mile south of Kingsbridge. Since the death of her husband about twenty years ago, Mrs. Koch has made her home with her youngest son, Henry, on the old homestead. She was a kind and affectionate mother and was known and loved by a large circle of friends.

She leaves eight grown up children and a host of friends to mourn her loss. Her children are: John, Henry, Michael and Mrs. C. J. Holsen of this place, William and Mrs. John Smith of Two Rivers, Mathias and John of Manitowoc.

The funeral services will be held at the Catholic cemetery at Francis Creek Tuesday.
