Mrs. Clara M. Krejcarek, age 95, a former resident of the village of Francis Creek, died Friday morning, October 4, 1996, at the North Ridge Medical and Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 7, 1996, at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. Rev. Donald Schneider will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with burial in the parish cemetery.

The former Clara Cherney was born September 4, 1901, in the town of Franklin, daughter of the late Paul and Mary Chizek Cherney. She attended St. Joseph Grade School, Kellnersville. On June 10, 1919, she married Joseph J. Krejcarek at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Kellnersville. The couple farmed in the Reifs Mills area until 1942 when they moved to Francis Creek. Mr. Krejcarek preceded her in death July 21, 1987. She is a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek, and St. Anne Altar Society.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Esther Krejcarek, Janesville, Wis.; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Olive Skarda, Kellnersville, Helen and Raymond Kath, Manitowoc, Betty Jean and Earl Pepperkorn, Milwaukee, Joyce Krejcarek, South Orange, N.J.; 20 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; 20 great-great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Louis and Violet Cherney, Manitowoc. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by two brothers, five sisters and two sons-in-law, Leonard Skarda and Melvin Karbon.

Relatives and friends may call at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Kellnersville, on Sunday from 5-8 p.m. There will be parish prayer service at 7 p.m. led by Father Schneider. Relatives and friends may also call on Monday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
