POOR HEALTH ENDS IN DEATH
Mrs. Barbara Leitermann, 80, Dies At Green Bay


Mrs. Barbara Leiterman, 80, former resident of Kossuth and Francis Creek, died Saturday at 11 a.m., at St. Vincent's hospital, Green Bay. She had been in poor health for several years and was taken to the hospital four weeks prior to her death.

She was born in Germany Sept. 27, 1852, and was brought to this country by her parents when she was four years old. They settled at Kossuth. She was married to John Leitermann at Francis Creek 60 years ago.

Mr. Leitermann conducted a blacksmith shop at Francis Creek and later operated a farm in Kossuth. He died 21 years ago. Mrs. Leitermann resided at Rockwell and Francis Creek for some time after his death and then went to Duck Creek to reside with her son, George.

She was a member of St. Ann's church at Francis Creek and St Ann's society. The body was brought to Manitowoc and the funeral will be held Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock from the Pfeffer Funeral home and at 10 a.m., at St. Ann's church. The Rev. Joseph Rauch will officiate and burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.

The survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Frank Seidel of Francis Creek and Mrs. Anna Stuiber of this city; three sons, Charles of Marathon, John of Antigo and George of Duck Creek; two brothers, Joseph Grall of Marshfield and John of California, one sister, Mrs. Peter Chadek of Green Bay, 38 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
