Margaret “Marge” Pivonka, age 83, a resident of Libby’s House in Chilton, formerly of Clarks Mills, WI, died Thursday morning, September 27, 2012, at Libby’s House.

Marge was born on July 8, 1929, in Clarks Mills, daughter of the late George and Blanche McCulley Schuh. She was a graduate of Valders High School with the
class of 1947. On September 27, 1950, she married her childhood sweetheart, Marvin “Muff” Pivonka at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Clarks Mills. He preceded
her in death on February 28, 2008.

Marge was an active partner in the day to day operations of River’s Bend Mink Ranch in Clarks Mills that she and her husband Muff co-owned and operated for
many years until their retirement in 1990. She was a faithful and longtime member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Clarks Mills, the Christian Mothers Society and the Catholic Knights.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Peter and Gloria Pivonka, Jim and Gail Pivonka, all of Clarks Mills; two daughters: Diane Pivonka, Green Bay;
Donna Jo and life partner Nancy Kulibert, Beaver Dam; seven grandchildren: Sean, Evan (Ashleigh), Kevin, Andrew (Jackie), Lucas (Ashley), Casey (Lydia), and
Tanya; two great granddaughters: Alyssa, and Willow; three sisters: Elizabeth “Sis” Hartsworm, Appleton; Grace Torrison, Valders; Beatrice “Beatie” and Jim Lau, Manitowoc; two sisters-in-law: Sharon Schuh, Clark Mills; Joan Schuh, Valders; one brother-in-law: Owen Peterson, Gladstone, MI; one brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law: Joe and Pat Pivonka,Valders; Monica Pivonka, Manitowoc; and special friends: Fran and Bill Demmon. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Marge was preceded in death by one sister, Susie Peterson; six brothers and five sisters-in-law: Jack Schuh and his first wife MaryAnn, Jim and Katie Schuh, Chuck Schuh, Wally and Sylvia Schuh, Hal and Delores Schuh, George and Marie Schuh; four brothers-in-law: Gustav Torrison, Keith Hartsworm, Bobby Dornaus, Harold “Bud” Pivonka; and one nephew, David Dornaus.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, October 1, 2012, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Clark Mills. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. David Zimmerman. Burial will take place on Tuesday morning at St. Mary’s Church Cemetery.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Monday, October 1, 2012, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Clarks Mills from 3:00 p.m. until 6:45 p.m.

Marge was an avid sports fan and supported area athletics, especially those involving her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, earning her a team shirt for her dedicated enthusiasm. Marge especially enjoyed socializing with family and friends. She also enjoyed bird watching, shaking dice, collecting and praying many rosaries throughout her life. The family wishes to thank the staff of Libby’s House in Chilton and Dr. Donald
DeBruyn for the compassionate care given to our mom.
