Mary Bell (Self) Kilpatrick, age 85 died September 8, 1997 at Eastern Oklahoma Medical Center in Poteau, Oklahoma.
She was born June 15, 1912 the daughter of Thomas "Tom" Andrew and Mary Francis (Wright) Self.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Will "Bill"; one son, James Arnold Kilpatrick; two daughters, Pearle and Lucille; four sisters, Myra Griffin, Doll Daniels, Bessie Wilmon and Mellie Bowen; three brothers, Harley, Dolphus and Robert "Bobby".
Survivors include seven daughters, Goldie Deaton of Mountainburg, Arkansas, Rosila McCoy, Wanda Tubbs both of Wilburton, Oklahoma, Winnie Moore of Durant, Oklahoma, Nadine Hendershot of Clayton, Oklahoma and Linda Mills of Tulsa, Oklahoma; five sons, James Lee Kilpatrick of Clayton, Oklahoma, John and Starr Kilpatrick both of Tuskahoma, Oklahoma, Billy Kilpatrick of of Big Cabin, Oklahoma, Ralph Kilpatrick of Shady Point, Oklahoma; one sister Jessie Becker of Salem, Missouri; 55 grandchildren; 48 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services were September 11, 1997 at Jones Funeral Chapel with Rev. Johnie Joshlin officiating. Burial was in Cupco Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Starr, Bill, Lee, Billy and Donald Kilpatrick, and Ira Swearinger.
