William Hugh Lewis, age 99, of Shelbyville, Tennessee, passed away Friday, April 15, 2016, at Lynchburg Care Center in Lynchburg, Tennessee. He was born on January 15, 1917, in Lincoln County Georgia, to the late George Addison Lewis and thersie Grant Lewis. He lived in Shady Dale, Georgia, for a number of years before moving to Forsyth; and later Shelbyville, Tennessee, to live with his daughter. Before retirement, he owned and operated a farm logging company. He was preceded in death by his wife of sixty five years, Lola Mae Brown Lewwis; son-in-law, Terry Abrams.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., on Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at Providence Baptist Church in Shady Dale.with Rev. Ed Westbrook officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
