Pioneer, a surveyor, newspaper man. Died following an operation.

Member of The First Presbyterian Church. His parents first took him from Wisconsin to Kansas. His father was a Senator from Kansas, Edmund G Ross, who cast the vote that shut down the impeachment of Andrew Johnson.
