Michael Hutter, 87, 861 Seabrights Lane, Martins Ferry, died Friday afternoon at Martins Ferry Hospital. He was born March 4, 1887, in Grossau, Transylvania, son of George and Maria Kastenhuber Hutter.
He was a retired mill worker, and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Martins Ferry, St. John's Lutheran Brotherhood, and the Saxon Lodge, Martins Ferry.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Greff Hutter; two sons, Michael T. and William Frederick, both of Martins Ferry, and one daughter, Mary Hutter Crooks, Martins Ferry, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
