Mr. Greenwood was a veteran of World War II and was wounded while in France. He received the purple heart, two bronze stars and many other decorations. Mr. Greenwood worked as a supervisor for R.B. Evans Company for 35 years and then for the state of Illinois where he retired in 1983. He was a member of the Vermilion Heights United Methosist Church in Danville, IL.
He was preceded in death by his first wife; and his parents.
He is survived by his wife: Helen; one son and one daughter; one brother and one sister; two grandchildren, two great grandchildren, 3 step children, 7 step grandchildren, and twelve step great grandchildren.
