He was born Oct. 26, 1911, in Merrill, son of William and Clara Buhler. He was married March 3, 1969, in Sedro-Woolley, Wash., to Ann Dahl O’Leary, who survives. He served in the Navy during World War II.
Survivors besides his wife include three sisters, Mrs. Harry (Elsbeth) Neubauer, 210 N Prospect St., and Mrs. Harry (Esther) Nelson, 1917 W. Main St., both of Merrill, and Mrs. Dorothy Stoeck, Milwaukee; two stepdaughters, Marianne Potts, Edgar, and Barbara Connor, Rockford; and six grandchildren.
Services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, Rockford, Ill. Friends may call at the church Saturday from noon until the time of services. Burial will be in Merrill Memorial Park.
