Captain Beall married, a second time, in 1874, his present wife having been Miss Chattie A. McEachin, daughter of Peter and Mariah McEachin, formerly of North Carolina. The present Mrs. Beall is a lady of the highest culture, an earnest Christian worker, beloved by all who know her. The fruit of the last marriage is one daughter, Zoe, yet a little schoolgirl, in disposition and character much like her mother. Captain, Beall, wife and all his chidren, are members of the West Point Baptist church, except his daughter, Willie, who went with her husband to the Pres byterian church. He is also a member of the board of directors of the Young Men's Chris tian association of West Point, and of the state executive committee of that organization.
