Douglas Woodcock was born January 1, 1931 in Midland, son of the late Albert Woodcock and Elizabeth (Talbot) Woodcock.
He married the former Gladys Smith on March 24, 1951 in Midland.
He was employed with The Dow Chemical Company for 27 years, and his last 16 years of employment he had worked at Dow Medical until his retirement. He loved country music, playing cards, hunting and fishing.
Surviving in addition to his wife Gladys Woodcock of 53 years are his children, Rick Woodcock, Jim Woodcock, Tom Woodcock and his fiance' Roxanne Roberts, and David Woodcock, all of Midland; 14 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Dale and Shirley Woodcock of Midland, Dennis and Diane Woodcock of Midland, Roy Woodcock and Ray Woodcock, both of Breckenridge, Betty Cavinder of Battle Creek, Joyce and Jerry Heckart of Midland, and Jean Konsdorf of Midland; sister-in-law, Darlene Woodcock of Midland; and special friends, Kevin and Becky Campbell of Midland.
Doug Woodcock was predeceased by one son, Ron Woodcock; two brothers, Paul Woodcock and Jack Woodcock; and two sisters, Lois Stockton and Ruthann Woodcock.
