Balistreri, Ignatius Frank, Jr. "Iggie" Age 47 years, of Hartford, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at St. Joseph's/Froedtert Community Health Hospital. Iggie was born on Aug. 14, 1961 to Ignatius Sr. and Maryann (nee Cefalu) in Milwaukee.
He attended James Madison High School.
After high school, he began his career as a machinist for Midland Plastics, Die Electric and the Wacker Corp.
He married Debra Kelber on June 15, 1985 and began his family.
He loved hunting, fishing and especially his children.
Iggie was also a former hunter safety instructor.
Iggie is survived by his children Brandon, Krystina and Brianna.
Further survived by his mother Maryann Yahnke, sister Nanette (Bruce) Sorenson, brother Peter (Roseanna) Balistreri, best friends Phred Grykiewicz and John Stewart, former wife Debra Kelber, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friend.
Preceded in death by his father, step father Russell Yahnke and brother Joseph.
A Memorial Service will be on Wed., April 8, at 7PM, at the Phillip Funeral Home of West Bend. Interment will take place at Pinelawn Cemetery on Thurs., April 9, at 11AM. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wed., April 8, from 4PM until time of service (7PM). In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Iggie's children.
