She had resided in Whiteley Township most of her life and was a member of the Claughton Chapel United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Bowers had driven a school bus for the Central Greene School District for 20 years.
Surviving are her husband, Charles Bowers; a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Marlene) Hunnell of Englewood, Ohio; a granddaughter, Charla Hunnell; and a foster sister, Mrs. John (Olive Kiger) VanDruff of Waynesburg.
