Rev. Titus Roberts was the son of Benjamin and Mary Polly (Risley) Roberts. He was the husband of Sarah "Sally" (Ellis) Roberts. They were married in 1821. Sarah died April 2, 1896. Rev. Roberts was a minister in the Genesee (Western New York/now Upper New York) Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church. Rev. Roberts entered the Conference in 1839 and was discontinued in 1840 - from then "till the close of his life" he continued as a Local Preacher.
